JUDGEMENT

(1.) RULE. Mr. Krunal Pandya, learned Assistant Government Pleader, waives service of Rule on behalf of the respondents.

(2.) By filing this petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon respondent No.2 to carry out necessary correction in respect of his birth date. It is the say of the petitioner that he was born on 19.07.1985. However, in the birth certificate, the date has been wrongly mentioned as 18.09.1985. When he came to learn about the discrepancy, he approached respondent No.2 authority with a request to make necessary correction. However, respondent No.2 declined to do so. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court, seeking the relief as stated in para 8(B) of the petition.

(3.) I have heard Mr. Kirit R. Patel, learned advocate for the petitioner, and Mr. Krunal Pandya, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents.
