TODAY the Court has admitted the Criminal Revision Application preferred by the applicant against the order of learned Additional Sessions judge, Second Fast Track Court, Navsari confirming the conviction and sentence passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Navsari in Criminal Case No. 47 of 2000 on 18th December. 2006. The accused has been held guilty for the offence punishable under the provisions of sections 7 and 16 (A) (i) (ii) of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act and it is alleged that the sample of chilly powder drawn from the business premises of the accused was found adulterated.
