JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Letters Patent Appeal is filed by the Union of India challenging the interim order dated 23.07.2013 passed by learned Single Judge in Special Civil Application No.1166 of 2013.

(2.) Brief facts of the case are as under:

The petitioner Company is a manufacturer of Orthopedic Implants, for which it relies on imports of certain materials, with the aid of which such implants are manufactured and sold by it in India. It is undisputed fact that the petitioner has been granted necessary registration and drug license under the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 for such purpose.
