JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal is filed against the judgment and order dated 29.06.2006 passed by the learned Presiding Officer, Additional Sessions Judge, 6th Fast Track Court, Gondal, Camp at Jetpur in Sessions Case No. 21 of 2005 whereby the appellant -original accused has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sec. 302 of Indian Penal Code and has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life and fine of Rs. 25,000/ - and in default, simple imprisonment for one year, and for the offence punishable under Sec. 37(1) -135 of the Bombay Police Act, he has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment RI for a period of four months and fine of Rs. 500/ - and in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for one month.
