LIEUTANANT COLONEL BISWAJIT MONDAL Vs. UNION OF INDIA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Lt.Colonel Virendra Kumar Chaubey, Lt. Colonel Vikrant Srivastava and Lt.Colonel Biswajit Mondal have filed the above three separate writ petitions being SCAs 13838/2004, 1959/2006 and 1963/2006 respectively before this Court through their Advocate Shri Ram Narain Rai and Shri S.Tripathy respectively.

(2.) All the three above writ petitions have been admitted with interim orders passed in favour of the petitioners. Applications filed for vacating ex parte ad interim relief were rejected. Thus, the interim relief granted earlier in all the three matters were confirmed and ordered to continue till final disposal of all the three writ petitions.

(3.) In ordinary circumstances, the petitions of 2004 and 2005 would not have been placed for final disposal when many old matters filed prior in point of time were pending before this Court since long. All these matters have been taken up by us today in view of Civil Applications nos.7848/2006 and 7849/2006 filed by the applicants-petitioners Lt.Colonel Vikrant Srivastava and Lt.Colonel Biswajit Mondal wherein they have prayed that their main petitions be posted for final disposal.
