JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned Advocate Mr. Dilip B. Rana for the petitioner and learned AGP Mr. Aditya Pathak for the respondent-State Authorities.

(2.) By way of this petition, the petitioner raises a grievance as regards the petitioner not getting the benefit of "Post Matric Scholarship" for students belonging to Scheduled Tribes for studies in India i.e. a centrally sponsored scheme.

(3.) It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner belongs to the Scheduled Tribes category and whereas the petitioner after having completed his Post Matriculation in the State of Gujarat, had got admission in the MBBS Course in one M/s Pacific Institute of Medical Science, Udaipur, under the Government quota in the academic year 2023-2024. It is the case of the petitioner that fees paid by the petitioner, for the State quota being approximately Rs.21.00 Lacs, the same had not been reimbursed by the State of Gujarat.
