JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned Advocate Mr. Prerak R. Bhatt for the applicant and learned APP Mr. L.B. Dabhi for the respondent-State.

(2.) Vide an order dtd. 3/9/2025, learned Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had directed the Trial Court to submit the report as regards the status of the trial. It would appear that vide a communication dtd. 10/9/2025, the learned Principal Judge, City Civil & Sessions Court, Ahmedabad had tendered the report dtd. 10/9/2025 by the concerned Court where the trial with regard to the present applicant is pending and whereas, it appears that a total of 27 witnesses have been examined, out of 52 witnesses named by the prosecution.

(3.) Considering the same, more particularly the assurance given by the learned Sessions Court that it will do its best to expedite the trial, at this stage, learned Advocate Mr. Bhatt would not press the present application and whereas the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. The present application stands disposed of accordingly.
