JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner is a Professor of South Gujarat University having retired as such on 14/06/2003.

(2.) THE petitioner joined service on 17/07/1969 as Assistant Lecturer with Sardar Vallabhbhai Regional College of Engineering and Technology, Surat. He was then appointed as Lecturer on 28/11/1973 and then as Assistant Professor with effect from 16/08/1984 in the same institution. He worked there until 20/06/1991.

(3.) ON being selected as Professor, he joined the South Gujarat University on 21/06/1991 and worked as such until 14/06/2003 i.e. the date of superannuation.
