(1.) With the consent of learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, the matter is taken up for final disposal.

(2.) Issue Rule, returnable forthwith. Mr. Kshitij M. Amin, learned Central Government Standing Counsel waives service of notice of rule on behalf of the respondent.

By way of the present petition, the petitioner herein has challenged the communication/ closure letter dtd. 22/7/2022 and has further prayed for direction to the respondent authority to consider the application of the petitioner's minor son namely Shabbir Yusuf Gheewala for renewal of Passport bearing Application No. AH2075491909421.
