JUDGEMENT

(1.) By way of present petition, the petitioner herein prayed for change in the name of the petitioner in the birth Certificate from 'Jaimin' to 'Jaiminkumar' as well as correction in the birth certificate with regard to date of birth of the petitioner from 10/10/1989 to 10/8/1989.

(2.) Heard Mr. Jigneshkumar Nayak, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Rituraj Meena, the learned advocate appearing for the respondent No.2- authority.

At the outset Mr. Jignesh Nayak, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submitted that pending the present petition, the respondent authority has acceded to the request of the present petitioner and has permitted the change in the name of the petitioner from 'Jaimin' to 'Jaiminkumar' in the birth certificate of the petitioner and, therefore, the grievance is limited to change of date of birth in birth certificate of the petitioner from 10/10/1989 to 10/8/1989.
