JUDGEMENT

(1.) Rule Returnable Forthwith. Mr.Sahil Trivedi, learned Assistant Government Pleader, waives service of rule on behalf of the respondent - State.

(2.) Heard Mr. Hemang Shah, learned advocate for the petitioner and Mr.Sahil Trivedi, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the State respondents.

(3.) The petitioner belongs to Rabari community, which is covered under the Scheduled Tribes category. On 12/10/2018, respondent no. 3 had issued Advertisement no. 150/201819 for filling up 1992 vacancies of Clerk and 229 vacant posts of Office Assistants, Class-III in various departments of the State Government. Subsequently on 1/6/2019, respondent no. 3 had issued an addendum by which it was resolved to fill up 2824 vacant posts of Clerk in various State Government Departments. Pursuant thereto, on 16/11/2019, respondent no. 3 issued yet another addendum by which it was resolved to fill up 3664 vacant post of Clerks and 237 vacant posts of Office Assistant, Class-III in various Government Departments.
