JUDGEMENT

(1.) FIRST Appeal No.1837 of 2006 has been filed by the original claimant being aggrieved and dissatisfied with the judgment and award dated 30-9-2005 passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (Aux.), Rajkot, in MACP No.1841 of 1997 whereby the original claimant was held entitled to Rs.2,83,200/- as total compensation to be recovered from the original opponents.

(2.) FIRST Appeal No.2548 of 2007 has been filed by the original opponent No.2-ST Corporation under Sec.173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 being aggrieved and dissatisfied with the same judgment and award.

(3.) UPON the summons being served, opponent No.2ST Corporation filed its written statement denying the contents of the claim petition.
