JUDGEMENT

(1.) WE have heard Mr. Ramnandan Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Shakeel A. Qureshi, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

(2.) THIS writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the punishment order dated 10.8.2004 passed by the respondents by which punishment of reversion for a period of two years in subordinate rank of Sub Inspector / Fire was awarded to the petitioner, the Appellate order dated 25.7.2004 and Revisional order dated 2.12.2006.

(3.) AFTER conducting the departmental disciplinary proceedings in accordance with the principles of natural justice, the Disciplinary Authority has awarded punishment of reduction in the rank for a period of two years and the petitioner has been reduced to the rank of Sub-Inspector (Fire) and thereafter, the petitioner's case was again to be considered.
