JUDGEMENT

(1.) RULE. Learned AGP waives service of notice of rule for and on behalf of the respondents.

(2.) At the outset, learned advocate Mr.Jay Shah has submitted that the writ petition is confined to prayer No.7(c).

(3.) The petitioner is seeking a direction on the respondent No.4 to release the vehicle being Truck No.GJ-06-AT-3992, Chassis No.MB1HTDYC4CRDH1444, which was seized by the respondent No.2. The respondent No.2 issued a show cause notice dtd. 21/4/2022 and passed an ex-parte order dtd. 28/4/2022 imposing the penalty of Rs.2,37,680.00 upon the petitioner, in flagrant violation of principles of natural justice.
