JUDGEMENT

(1.) Though served none appears for respondents no. 2. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties.

(2.) By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed that his date of birth be changed from 6/12/1979 to 10/10/1979 in his birth certificate.

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner, would rely on documents such as School Leaving Certificate, PAN Card, Aadhar Card as well as Election Card of the petitioner which indicate that the petitioner's date of birth is 10/10/1979. Reliance is placed on a decision rendered by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Special Civil Application No. 21302 of 2019 dtd. 2/12/2021. Relevant paragraph of the said decision read as under:
