JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present application is a successive bail application filed under Sec. 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for regular bail in connection with FIR being C.R. No.13 of 2022 registered with the Surat City ACB Police Station, Surat for offences punishable under Ss. 7(a) and 13(2) of the Prevention of corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018.

(2.) Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the applicant submits that considering the nature of the offence as well as considering the fact that the charge-sheet is filed by the investing officer, the applicant may be enlarged on regular bail by imposing suitable conditions.

(3.) Learned APP appearing on behalf of the respondent- State has opposed grant of regular bail looking to the nature and gravity of the offence.
