JUDGEMENT

(1.) BY way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner, a practicing advocate and desiring to seek admission in LLM, Part - I for Academic Year 2010 -2011 at Vir Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat has prayed for the following reliefs : -

(3.) THE petitioner is holding a degree of LL.B (Special) conferred by Saurashtra University in the year 2005. He studied at Shri S. D. Kotak Law College, Amreli which is affiliated to the Saurashtra University at Rajkot. The petitioner is a practicing advocate in the District and Sessions court at Surat. The petitioner filled up form for securing admission in Part I of LL.M pursuant to the advertisement published by V. T. Choksi Law College, Surat. The petitioner belongs to the Scheduled Caste category. It is also the case of the petitioner that in application form, against column No.14 as to whether he is interested in higher payment seat, the petitioner agreed for the same.
