JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this petition, which is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :-

(2.) Heard learned advocate Mr. Hardik Bharhmbhat for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader Ms. Jyoti Bhatt for the respondent - State.

(3.) It is submitted by learned advocate for the petitioner that this petition has been filed by the petitioner who is aged about 80 years at pre-execution stage against the order of detention which has been passed on 24/12/2020 by the respondent detaining authority while exercising powers under Sec. 3(2) of the Gujarat Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, 1985 (hereinafter referred to as 'PASA') declaring the petitioner as "common gaming house keeper" under Sec. 2 (bb) of the Act.
