(1.) WE have heard Mr.Vijay Nangesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.N.J. Shah, learned AGP, for respondent no.1 and Mr.N. V. Anjaria, learned counsel for respondent no.2.

(3.) HAVING heard the learned counsel for the parties, we are of the opinion that since the petitioner did not challenge the election when the election notification was issued, the petitioner took a chance, contested the election and after losing in the election is finding fault with the Rules.
