JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS petition has been preferred by the petitioners, residents of Ghanchivad, Harsol, in public interest praying for the following reliefs: -

(3.) NOTICES were issued to the respondents. Taking into consideration the nature of the case, we thought it fit to direct that some of the experts in this regard should visit the place where the mining activities are undergoing and see as to whether the mining will affect the ground water or the ecology of the area. We also requested the respondents to get a report from the team of experts as to whether such mining will adversely affect the check -dams or in and around area of which, the agriculturists derive advantage.
