JUDGEMENT

(1.) Since the issue involved in the captioned writ petitions are common, the same are decided analogously by this Common judgment.

(2.) In the present writ petition, the petitioners, who are serving as lecturers in Mechanical Engineering Gujarat Education Service Class-II (Collegiate Branch), are claiming the senior Scale and selection grade.

(3.) It is not in dispute that the petitioners have already granted the senior scale, but they are not granted the selection grade on the basis that they are not fulfilling the educational qualification as prescribed vide notification dated 07.01.1992.
