JUDGEMENT

(1.) Rule. Mr. Pranav Trivedi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor and Mr. Rushi Bhavsar, learned advocate, waive service of notice of rule on behalf of respondents Nos.1 & 2 respectively.

(2.) This application has been filed under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing and setting aside the FIR being C.R. No.11199002200003 of 2020 registered with Mahila Police Station, Dist.: Bharuch for offfences punishable under sections 498A , 504 , 506(2) and 114 of IPC and the proceedings initiated pursuant thereto.

(3.) Mr. Parvez A. Pathan, learned advocate for the applicant, submitted that the parties have settled the dispute amicably outside the Court and that there remains no grievance between them. It was submitted that the parties are known to each other and are residing in the same village and that divorce proceedings are going on between them. Therefore, in the larger interest of the society, the impugned complaint may be quashed and set aside.
