JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal is filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure read with section 14(A) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act for regular bail in connection with an offence being C.R.No.11214033200884 of 2020 registered with Mangrol Police Station, Surat (Rural) for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 474, 120(B) and 114 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 3(1)(f) and 3(2)(5-a) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

(2.) Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the appellant through video conferencing submits that considering the nature of offence, the appellant may be enlarged on regular bail by imposing suitable conditions.

(3.) Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State through video conferencing has opposed grant of regular bail looking to the nature and gravity of the offence.
