JUDGEMENT

(1.) Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (herein after referred to as MSEDCL) filed a Petition on 29 November 2013, seeking determination of cross subsidy surcharge in accordance with the Section 42(2) and Section 86(1)(a) of the Electricity Act, 2003 and Regulation 13 of MERC (Distribution Open Access) Regulations, 2005.

(3.) In this regard, the Commission issued a Notice on 29 January, 2014 and scheduled a hearing on 13 February 2014. MSEDCL was directed to serve copies of the Petition to the authorized Consumer Representatives.
