JUDGEMENT

(1.) By way of present application, moved under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. the applicants seek to quash the impugned charge sheet no.24 of 2019 dated 09.02.2019, summoning order dated 20.04.2019 and entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.323 of 2019, "State Vs. Kunal Aggarwal and another", under Sections 498A , 323 , 504 IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act , pending before Additional Civil Judge (SD-1)/ Judicial Magistrate, District Haridwar in terms of compromise arrived between the parties.

(2.) The parties have filed a Compounding Application no. 3158 of 2019 to show that the parties have buried their differences and have settled their disputes amicably.

(3.) It is contended by learned counsel for the State that the offences punishable under Sections 498A IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act are not compoundable offences.
