(1.) Appellant was the sixth respondent in the writ petition. The writ petition was filed seeking the following relief:
(2.) Briefly, the case of the writ petitioner was that he was entitled to 5 quality points for NSS 'C' certificate. The learned Single Judge, by the impugned judgment, took note of the admission in the counter affidavit of the State that the writ petitioner was, in fact, entitled to 5 quality points and, instead, 2 quality points were awarded. On the said basis, the writ petition was allowed and the case of the writ petitioner was directed to be considered by treating the writ petitioner as having secured 5 quality points for NSS 'C' certificate within a period of eight weeks from the date of the judgment.
