BANKEY BIHARI Vs. CBI, THROUGH SPE DEHRADUN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Applicant Bankey Bihari seeks bail in connection with FIR no. RC 0072014A0006, under Sections 120B r/w 420, 468, 471 IPC and Section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, registered at police station, CBI, SPE, Dehradun.

(2.) Heard learned counsel for the p ies, considered the grounds taken up in the bail application and perused the documents brought on record.

(3.) Complainant Naresh Kumar, AGM, PNB, Paltan Bazar Branch, Dehradun lodged a written complaint, alleging therein, that various persons hatched a conspiracy and in furtherance of that term loan of Rs. 150 lakhs and CC limit of Rs. 200 lakhs were sanctioned to M/s Apex Wires and Cables, Unit 1 and further a term loan of Rs. 50 lakhs and CC limit of Rs. 150 lakhs were sanctioned to M/s Apex Wires and Cables, Unit II. It was further stated that loanees had not returned the loan and an amount of Rs. 5,48 crores has become NPA, causing huge loss to the bank.
