SHADAB Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The applicant-Shadab is in judicial custody for the offence under Sec. 8 read with Sec. 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short, "Act, 1985") in Case Crime No.617 of 2025, registered at Police Station Patel Nagar, District Dehradun.

(2.) According to the First Information Report, on 18/11/2025, the applicant was apprehended by the police on suspicion. He was searched by them. The police recovered 152 gm. smack from a polythene bag kept in the right pocket of his jacket. He was arrested at 01:45 hrs.

(3.) Heard Mr. Siddhartha Tomar, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned Assistant Government Advocate for the respondent.
