BALJEET SINGH Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Applicant Baljeet Singh is in judicial custody for the offence under Sec. 8 read with Sec. 21 and Sec. 60 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short, "Act, 1985") in Case Crime No.84 of 2025, registered at Police Station Banbasa, District Champawat.

(2.) According to the First Information Report, on 2/9/2025, the police saw the applicant coming on a motorcycle. Seeing the police, he tried to run away. He was apprehended. He was searched. The police recovered 213 gm. smack from a polythene bag kept in the right pocket of his paints. He was arrested at 23:55 hrs.
