KUNAL PANDEY Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The applicant-Kunal Pandey is in judicial custody for the offence punishable under Sec. 8 read with Sec. 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short, "Act, 1985") in Case Crime No.489 of 2025, registered at Police Station Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar.

(2.) According to the First Information Report, on 4/12/2025, the applicant and two others were going on a motorcycle (UK18T9838). Sacks were kept on the said motorcycle. The police apprehended them at 23:28 hrs. The police recovered 5.590 kg. ganja from the sack of the present applicant. The police recovered 6.200 kg. ganja from the co-accused Jeevan Kumar. Applicant was arrested at 00:25 hrs.
