JAMSHAID Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Application has been filed for anticipatory bail under Sec. 3, Sec. 5 read with Sec. 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007 in Case Crime No.174 of 2025, registered at Police Station S.I.D.C.U.L., District Haridwar.

(2.) As per the First Information Report dtd. 9/4/2025, the police party received a secret information that Munsar alias Dadu, Jamshaid (present applicant) and Haider slaughtered a cow in the morning and Munsar alias Dadu has kept the beef in his house to sell it. The police raided the spot and recovered 80 kg. beef and other articles from the spot. Co-accused Munsar alias Dadu was arrested. He told that he along with Jamshaid (the present applicant) and Haider slaughtered a cow in the morning.
