AYAN Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The applicant- Ayan is in judicial custody in Case Crime No.125 of 2025, registered at Police Station Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar under Sec. 3, Sec. 5 read with Sec. 11(1) of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007.

(2.) According to the First Information Report dtd. 10/5/2025, the police party received a secret information that one person is selling beef. The police party raided the spot. The police party observed that three persons were present on the spot. Seeing the police, one person managed to escape from the spot. The police party recovered 40 kg of beef and other articles from the spot. The present applicant and one co-accused Sajid were arrested.
