JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present Application under Sec. 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed for Anticipatory Bail under Ss. 420, 467, 468, 471 and Sec. 120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 in connection with the First Information Report No. 14 of 2020 (Criminal Case No. 5470 of 2021), registered at police station Dalanwala, District Dehradun.

(2.) Pursuant to letter dtd. 17/4/2018 of the Principal Secretary, Home of the State of Uttarakhand, a Special Investigation Team was constituted in the scholarship scam matter. After enquiry, Sub-Inspector Sukhpal Singh lodged a First Information Report on 5/2/2020 against Shriram Institute of Technology, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh).
