CHARAN SINGH Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioners Charan Singh and Sarvjeet Singh seek quashing of FIR No.340 of 2023, under Ss. 420, 467, 468, 471, 504 and 506 IPC, Police Station Sitarganj, District- Udham Singh Nagar, on the basis of amicable settlement between the parties. A joint compounding application has been filed along with the affidavits.

(2.) Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

(3.) According to the FIR, based on the offer made by the petitioners, the informant, who is the respondent no.4, invested huge amount in their business, but, subsequently, the benefits were not given to the informant.
