JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioners before this Court were applicants for the selection process to the post of Primary School Teacher/Trained Teacher for the district Almora, as they claim to be a permanent resident of Almora.

(2.) IN the said selection, the petitioners ultimately have not been selected, however, the private respondents have been selected in the said selection process and as of now they are teaching in various Government Primary Schools in district Almora (Uttarakhand).

(3.) THIS case rests on simple preposition that the respondents, who have been selected, are actually permanent resident of other district than Almora (districts referred above), but since they saw their chances for appointments in district Almora, they changed their permanent resident to Almora and procured a certificate and applied for the said post from Almora and subsequently, they have been selected.
