DALVEER SINGH Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioners Dalveer Singh, Satinder Pal Singh, Simranjeet Kaur and Amaneep Kaur seek quashing of the FIR No.594 of 2023, under Ss. 34, 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 504 and 506 IPC, Police Station Rudrapur, District- Udham Singh Nagar, on the basis of amicable settlement between the parties. A joint compounding application has been filed along with the affidavits.

(2.) Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

(3.) According to the FIR, the respondent no.3, the informant, was induced by the petitioners to deliver money in the name of visa, travel tickets, etc. But, subsequently, the informant realised that he has been cheated.
