BINDRA DEVI Vs. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND & ANOTHER

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner claims to be a member of Other Backward Class (hereinafter referred to as "O.B.C.") known as "Kurmi". She has applied for a certified of O.B.C. before the Tehsildar, Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar on 19.11.2013.

(2.) According to the petitioner, there is an urgency in the matter, as she has to apply for Angan Bari Karyakarti for which last date for filing the application is 03.12.2013. She further submits that will does not get the certificate in time, as normally the concerned Officer will take minimum 15 days time for grant of such certificate.

(3.) In case a minimum time is prescribed, no interference is called for by this Court in the matter and that application shall be decided in accordance with law. Meanwhile, the petitioner is permitted to provisionally apply for the post of Angan Bari Karyakarti and her application shall be considered subject to her filing the requisite certificate of O.B.C. immediately after obtaining such certificate.
