JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Bail application has been filed under Sec. 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of regular bail in connection with FIR No.460 of 2019, registered with Police Station Sahaspur, District Dehradun for the offence under Ss. 409, 420, 120 B of IPC and Sec. 13 (1) (d) read with Sec. 13 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

(2.) In the scholarship scam, in compliance of the letter dtd. 17/4/2018 of the Home Department of the State of Uttarakhand, a Special Investigation Team was constituted under the Chairmanship of Mr. Manjunath, T.C. Mr. Aditya Saini, Sub-Inspector, was a member of the said Special Investigation Team. After enquiry, Mr. Aditya Saini, Sub-Inspector, lodged an FIR on 13/12/2019 against the co-accused.
