JUDGEMENT

(1.) By way of present application, moved under Sec. 482 of Cr.P.C., applicants seek to quash the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 2121 of 2015, 'State Vs. Vineet Prasad and others', under Sec. 323 and 427 I.P.C. registered at Police Station Kotwali, District Dehradun, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Dehradun.

(2.) The complainant Parvinder Singh is present before this Court through video conferencing. He submitted that compromise has been taken place between the parties. The parties have filed the aforesaid compounding application to show that they have buried their differences and have settled their disputes amicably. They are also present before the Court today through video conferencing being duly identified by their respective counsel. The informant fairly submitted that a compromise has taken place between the parties; the FIR was lodged under some misconception of facts; and he does not want to pursue the matter against the applicants.

(3.) Learned counsel for the State opposed the compounding application.
