JUDGEMENT

(1.) BY means of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to conduct scrutiny of marks as applied for by the petitioner expeditiously.

(2.) ACCORDING to the petitioner, he had appeared in the Intermediate Examination 2010 as regular student bearing Roll No. 063626 from Vivekanand Vidya Mandir Inter College Pithoragarh in Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and he secured First Division in the Examination. Being dissatisfied with the marks obtained by him, the petitioner applied for scrutiny of marks in four subjects, namely, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English vide Annexure -3 to the petition and has already deposited the requisite fee, challan, etc. for the same.

(3.) IN the circumstances of the case, the respondent -Uttarakhand Education and Examination Board Ramnagar is directed to complete the scrutiny proceedings of the petitioner, as applied for, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
