JUDGEMENT

(1.) BY means of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to conduct scrutiny of marks as applied for by the petitioner expeditiously.

(2.) ACCORDING to the petitioner, she had appeared in the Intermediate Examination 2010 as regular student bearing Roll No. 061263 from Government Inter College Baluwakote, Pithoragarh, in Hindi, English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects and she secured First Division in the Examination. Being dissatisfied with the marks obtained by her, the petitioner applied for scrutiny of marks in English, Physics and Mathematics vide Annexure -3 to the petition and has already deposited the requisite fee, challan, etc. for the same.

(3.) IN the circumstances of the case, the respondent -Uttarakhand Education and Examination Board Ramnagar is directed to complete the scrutiny proceedings of the petitioner, as applied for, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
