JUDGEMENT

(1.) This application is filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C.

(2.) The applicant herein is the 1 st accused in Crime No.1335 of 2018 of the Cheranelloor Police Station registered under Sections 364, 307, 120(b) and 506(ii) r/w Section 34 of the IPC.

(3.) According to the prosecution, the relationship between the applicant and his wife was unduly strained. In order to secure a divorce, she approached the Family Court and filed a petition. In retaliation, a conspiracy was hatched by the applicant along with accused Nos.2 to 5, who are his near relatives and friends. It is alleged that on 30.11.2018 at 1.30 p.m., the wife of the applicant was persuaded to come out of Aster Medicity Hospital, where she was working, and she was pushed inside a car. Thereafter, the applicant is alleged to have inflicted inflicted repeated stab injuries with a knife.
