JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:

(2.) When this writ petition was filed, petitioner was a 4 th semester student, studying for 'Dual Degree Masters of Computer Application' and her 4th semester examination was scheduled to 23.5.2018. Petitioner has paid the examination fee and submitted the application in time. However, on 2.5.2018, the 4th respondent i.e. Principal of the College intimated the petitioner that, she is not eligible to appear in the 4 th semester examination due to shortage of attendance. According to the petitioner, on 24.2.2018, a large piece of glass fell on the right foot of the petitioner, and has she suffered with a deep cut on the right foot and her tendon was broken and therefore, she had to undergo surgery and take bed rest till 30.3.2018.

Any how, the case projected by the petitioner is that, petitioner submitted an application before the Principal of the College seeking condonation of the attendance, which was not forwarded by the college contending that the petitioner has less than 75% of the attendance. The case projected by the petitioner is that, out of the 90 working days prescribed in accordance with the provisions of the University statute, there were only 42 working days and therefore, if that is taken into account, petitioner has sufficient attendance. Any way, these are all matters to be looked into by the University, on forwarding the application by the Principal of the College.
