JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C.

(2.) The petitioner herein is the accused in Crime No.1839 of 2018 registered at the Ernakulam Central Police Station alleging offences punishable under Section 511 of Section 384 of the IPC.

(3.) According to the de facto complainant, the petitioner is an Insurance Surveyor of Universal Insurance Company. The prosecution allegation is that he demanded money in order to give a favourable report so that the informant would get enhanced compensation.
