JUDGEMENT

(1.) This application is filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C.

(2.) The applicant herein is the accused in Crime No. 85 of 2019 registered at the Kozhikode Railway Police Station. In the said Crime, he is accused of having committed offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act , 1985.

(3.) On 22.07.2019 at 12.20 pm, the applicant was allegedly found in possession of 40.520 Kgs. of Ganja in two plastic sacks in the 4 th platform of the Kozhikode Railway Station by the 1st respondent. After complying with the formalities, the contraband was seized as per a Mahazar. He was arrested and later remanded to custody.
