JUDGEMENT

(1.) These applications are filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

(2.) The applicants herein are the accused in Crime No.349 of 2019 of the Mananthavady Police Station, registered under Section 420 of the IPC.

(3.) It is the case of the informant that the applicants herein approached him and his friend, one Vijesh, and offered them VISA to work in Malaysia. By inducing them, a sum of Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) was allegedly received. The defacto complainant and his friend were taken to Malaysia on a visiting Visa and they worked in the said country for a period of 20 days. However, they had to leave the country as the accused failed to procure a job VISA as originally assured. He approached the police and set the law in motion.
