JUDGEMENT

(1.) Pursuant to the notification issued by the PSC, the petitioner applied for the post of Staff Nurse in Pathanamthitta district, and in the rank list, she has been included at rank No.372, in the supplementary list (reservation category - SC). Her grievance is that despite availability of vacancies, the vacancies are not reported.

(2.) The learned Government Pleader has obtained instructions in the matter, and submits that till now, 119 candidates have been advised and appointed. It is also stated that, at present, there are 8 vacancies, out of which two are to be filled up by inter district transfer, and the remaining 6 vacancies, including one NJD vacancy, are to be reported, and will be reported soon.

(3.) Since the learned Government Pleader submits that the six vacancies will be reported soon, it is up to the 4th respondent to advise candidates from the rank list, immediately after reporting of the above vacancies. This the 4th respondent shall do. Therefore, this writ petition is closed leaving open the petitioner to move this Court, if he is aggrieved in future.
