(2.) PETITIONER is accused in Crime No. 13/2009 of Chengannur Excise Range for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (1) and (2) of the Abkari Act. The facts are as stated in the order of the court below, which is appended to this petition. Considering the quantity involved and also the fact that a good part of the investigation is over, bail needs to be granted.
