(1.) The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is the wife. The petitioner challenges Ext.P3 order passed by the Family Court, Thrissur in O.P.No.1682/2016.

The petitioner filed O.P.No.1682/2016 in the Family Court, Thrissur for granting a decree of divorce under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 on the grounds of cruelty and adultery (it is specifically stated in paragraph 9 of the original petition filed before the Family Court that the cause of action arose from 11.7.2010 onwards also on which date the petitioner came to know about the adultery committed by the respondent). It is alleged in the original petition filed by him before the Family Court that the respondent has insatiable sexual lust and she behaves like a mad woman for that reason.
(3.) The petitioner filed Ext.P2 application in the Family Court to direct medical examination of the respondent to ascertain her mental condition. It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application that the respondent has become a mentally deranged person and that she behaves like a mad woman and therefore it is necessary to ascertain her mental condition.
