(1.) These applications are filed under ? 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
(2.) A certain Joseph Mathew was the Chairman and Managing Director of Aswasa Bhavan. As the name broadly signifies, the institution was set up to provide shelter, support, counselling and other facilities for children of convicted persons or those children whose parents were undergoing incarceration in prison. Sri. Joseph Mathew, along with his wife and children were residing in the building situated in the same premises.
(3.) In order to run the institution, the aforesaid Joseph Mathew had employed several persons. The applicant is alleged to be one among them. Her role is alleged to be that of a caretaker/warden of the minor children.
